The View Homestay B&B
We have 200 degrees of breath-taking views from Browns Island via Rangitoto and Mt. Wellington towards Halfmoon Bay Marina. The View is fitted with fine artwork and situated on the waterfront, offers bedrooms for guests in a Bed & Breakfast or Homestay setting.
The large 34 sqm The View Room with king-size bed looks out to the beach. The other rooms are each fitted with two single beds. The entertainment and living area features a large 52? digital LCD TV, a billiard table, a piano and a bar. It faces the waterfront with access to the sundeck.
Furthermore there is a secluded back yard area with sauna and spa-pool. Enjoy the manicured garden, take the water-cycles (pedal-boats) or windsurf board to Browns Island and enjoy the exceptional quality of accommodation. Your hosts can also take you on a sailing trip to the Hauraki Gulf.
The surrounding suburb provides for easy access to Auckland Downtown by ferry or bus, Howick golf course, tennis courts, Halfmoon Bay Marina and Bucklands Beach Yacht Club, and various good quality neighbourhood restaurants as well as nearby shopping malls Sylvia Park and Botany Downs Town Centre.
Your hosts Jutta and Tom relocated to New Zealand for life-style reasons in 2005 from Germany. Here on Bucklands Beach they found the ultimate location. And they love to sit with you and have a chat enjoying a complementary beer or glass of wine. They found the tranquillity of a suburb close to a real city.
