Welcome to Puketotara Lodge, KerikeriSet amongst 30 acres of native bush and lush northland pastures, Puketotara Lodge in the Bay Of Islands is the perfect blend of luxury accommodation and good old-fashioned New Zealand hospitality.
Just 5 minutes from Kerikeri, it?s easy to visit a host of local tourist attractions like the Stone Store Basin, the historic Pear Tree Restaurant and Blacksmith's Shop, Marsden Estate Winery, Ake Ake Vineyard and your choice of golf courses?or far enough that no one need know you are here.
It?s a very unique Bed and Breakfast and those wanting a private retreat need never leave the property. Listen to the bird song as you stroll amongst the beautiful orchard or olive grove, wander through stunning native bush or visit one of the three waterfalls on our property. You can picnic on the bank of the Puketotara River that wends its way through the grounds, take a dip, or try your hand at fly fishing. And for those wanting a bit of physical activity the air strip doubles nicely as a golf driving range!
Our modern rooms are designed to make you feel a little bit spoiled. All rooms have a sitting area where you can relax in privacy, air conditioning, a separate bathroom and an ensuite, (King Rooms have a spa bath). All rooms are north facing and open onto a sunny deck where you?ll enjoy magnificent views. Each room has its own private entrance. Other amenities available include, internet, a big open fire, a spa and outside Pizza Oven.
There is also a private cottage that?s perfect for honeymooners or families wanting their own space and kitchen facility.
