Silverstream Lodge

Silverstream Lodge is a friendly, relaxed country retreat 2 minutes from Lincoln University and 30 minutes from Christchurch International airport and the CBD. Silverstream has only recently been completed having been designed for guest comfort and privacy. Positioned on 28 acres with views of the Port Hills set in mature gardens alongside the Liffy 11 River. Trout fishing and messing about in boats are just two of the many attractions offered. Our breakfast comes courtesy of our own free range organic hens. We grow our own grain in one paddock and the poultry enjoy the paddock next door to do what hens, ducks and guinea fowl enjoy doing all day - scratching around for bugs. The bacon is old fashioned, tasty and our own. Truly an old fashioned country breakfast. If we didn?t grow it ourselves, then we know who did.

Your hosts and owners of Silverstream Lodge are Grant and Kathy Gillatt. Grant is a recently retired farmer and Kathy is an enthusiastic cook that enjoys making the most of the best produce Canterbury has to offer.
