Welcome to Hillcrest, the home of Dave, Jane, Simon and Samantha Johnson. Set amongst 12.5 acres of tranquil farmland just 20 minutes from Wellington City. Hillcrest is the ideal location to relax and unwind.

Hillcrest is home to a band of thoroughbred horses and has an active breeding program. Dave would welcome the opportunity to share his passion for this magnificent breed and discuss the merits of thoroughbred racing over a selected glass of New Zealand wine.

Pick up and drop off from Wellington airport or railway station is available by arrangement.

Escape the city and take advantage of our weekend getaways over Friday and Saturday. Ideal for that romantic interlude relaxing in front of the open fire over winter, soaking in the spa bath and just simply unwind. Weekend packages arranged to individual requirements.

Hillcrest supports a non-smoking policy.
Pets accommodated by arrangement only.
Beverage list offering a selection of superb New Zealand wines, beers and fruit juices is available. Special rates for longer stays.
