The Whangarei Heads Harbour is ideal for all water activities including kayaking, fishing, water skiing, diving, sailing, windsurfing, coastal walks or you can just relax on the beach soaking up the sun.

There are a number of boat ramps nearby for launching small runabouts or sailing vessels. Once you have launched your boat you can then anchor your boat in front of Breakaway Retreat for easy access during your stay.
