Car Hire Insurance - we've got you covered!

Full third-party and public liability insurance cover is included in your car rental rate.

An excess (or "deductible") applies. The excess is the amount you are liable for in the event of damage or loss to the vehicle. The excess is referred to as your liability.

Your Options:-

Option 1: Standard Liability

Insurance is always included in your price. Your liability is:-

NZ$1500.00 (for hires 1 November to 20 June)

NZ$2000.00 (for hires 21 June to 31 October)

You are liable for the first NZ$1500.00 or NZ$2000.00 of repair.

Option 2: Reduced Liability

We highly recommend that you reduce your liability by taking our Collission Damage Buydown (CDB). The CDB is NZ$15.00 per day (max NZ$300.00); and is offered when you pick up your vehicle. The CDB limits your liability to NZ250.00

We record your credit card for security, and only deduct the cost of repair (but no more than your chosen libility) if your vehicle is returned damaged.

Additional Glass Cover

We recommend that you take our Glass Insurance which is offered when you pick up your vehicle. The glass insurance is NZ$5.00 per day, maximum NZ$100.00.This reduces your windscreen, window and headlight damage to nil.
