The Waitomo Caves region of New Zealand is famous for the Waitomo glow-worm caves, stalactites and stalagmites, as well as many other caving and subterranean adventures. Waitomo adventure tours include spectacular Lost World where you abseil into a magnificent cavern.

Lost World Tandem Abseil
Abseil 100m into Lost World. After the 30 minute descent, you return to the surface through another spectacular dry cavern. The abseil is at least twice the height of any other cave at Waitomo. Descend slowly, bouncing and turning as the mist filtered light gives unreal qualities.

Haggas Honking Holes
Waitomo's most concentrated action underground adventure trip. Feel like Indiana Jones in a washing machine. Do a series of abseils, rock climbs, crawling and cruising as you explore this fabulous cave. An adventure trip that crams lots of action into only 4 hrs.

TumuTumu Toobing
This ripper of a trip combines the best elements of black water rafting with walking, climbing, swimming and tubing through distinctive sections of the spectacular TumuTumu Cave. See awesome cave formation, as well as some of New Zealand's famous and unique glowworm. Allow 4 hrs for this adventure trip, including 2 hrs underground.

St Benedicts Caverns
Abseil and explore one of New Zealand's most special & picturesque underground places. No glowworm, but regarded as the prettiest cave. The trip is gentle, dry and physically not hard. It's a great if you want something that is not too cold and wet, but sporty with lots of activity and fun!
