Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua - Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown - Christchurch
6 Day New Zealand Tour from Auckland be spell bound by Waitomo Glowworm Caves and geothermal Rotorua. Fly to Queenstown and see magnificent Milford Sound before finishing in Christchurch.
Day 1 - Auckland/Waitomo/Rotorua
(lunch and dinner included) From Auckland travel to the fascinating Waitomo Caves where you will enjoy lunch before a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Grotto and an underground boat ride. Continue on via Lake Karapiro to arrive in Rotorua. In the evening enjoy a unique Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert.
Day 2 - Rotorua Sightseeing
Today experience the many varied sights that Rotorua has to offer. Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve and learn about traditional Maori crafts, before traveling to Rainbow Springs and Agrodome Farm Show. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 - Rotorua/Queenstown
(flight not included) Fly to Queenstown, the adventure capital, where you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of your day is at leisure.
Day 4 - Milford Sound Excursion
Travel with Great Sights along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, gateway to the Fiordland National Park. From the Homer Tunnel emerge into the Cleddau Valley. Join your Milford Sound Red Boat Cruise for an unforgettable experience, and explore the wonder of this majestic fiord before returning to Queenstown.
Day 5 - Queenstown
A free day to enjoy the many activities on offer.
Day 6 - Queenstown/Christchurch
Journey through some of New Zealand's most dramatic landscapes. Arrive in Christchurch early evening.
