Day 1. Arrive Auckland, Freedom of Choice Touring
You will be met and transferred to your centrally-located Auckland hotel. Then choose the sightseeing activity that interests you the most from our range of Freedom of Choice Touring options. Step aboard the Interislander and cruise Cook Strait to Picton. Continue by coach to Blenheim and the stunning wine region of Marlborough. Enjoy breathtaking scenery as you journey through Marlborough, via Kaikoura to Christchurch.

Today board the TranzAlpine train and journey across the Southern Alps. Disembark at Arthurs Pass and continue by coach to Franz Josef.
