Day 1. Auckland, Freedom of Choice Touring
On arrival, be met and transferred to your Auckland hotel. Then choose the activity that interests you the most and we will include it. Options include a city sightseeing tour, a climb up Auckland Harbour Bridge, a cruise aboard the Pride of Auckland on Waitemata Harbour and more.

Day 2. Auckland, Bay of Islands
Cross Auckland's busy Harbour Bridge and travel along the Hibiscus Coast to the Matakohe Pioneer Museum. Then continue via the Waipoua Forest Reserve to the sub-tropical Bay of Islands and visit the Waitangi Treaty House.

Day 3. Bay of Islands, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today in the Bay of Islands you'll choose your own sightseeing activity from our Freedom of Choice Touring options.

Day 4. Bay of Islands, Auckland
This morning cruise to Cape Brett and the Hole in the Rock. Returning to Paihia, your coach will then take you to Auckland. Tonight enjoy a special dinner at our hotel.

Day 5. Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua, Maori Hangi Feast
Leaving Auckland, travel to the Waitomo Caves for a tour. Continue to Rotorua and tonight immerse yourself in Maori hospitality and culture at a Maori Hangi feast and a performance of song and dance.

Day 6. Rotorua, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today, we give you the opportunity to choose the activity that interests you. Country Homestay option available tonight (B, D)
Day 7. Rotorua, Wellington
Travel to the heart of the North Island and view Wairakei Steam Valley. Visit Huka Falls and Lake Taupo then cross the plateau of World Heritage-listed Tongariro National Park en route to Wellington.
Two Night Stay: Amora Hotel Wellington (B, D)
Day 8. Depart Wellington
Today choose from our selection of Freedom of Choice activities. Perhaps take a Wellington highlights tour, visit Zealandia: Karori Eco Sanctuary, enjoy a ‘Lord of the Rings' tour or visit the Carter Observatory and Planetarium. Dinner tonight is at your leisure to try some of the local restaurants.(B)
Day 9. Depart Wellington
This morning is yours to spend at leisure until your included departure transfer to the airport. (B)
