Day 1. Christchurch
On arrival be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2. TranzAlpine Train, Franz Josef
Board the TranzAlpine train and take in stunning scenery as you travel across the Southern Alps. Disembark at Arthurs Pass and continue to Hokitika by coach, then on to Franz Josef.

Day 3. Franz Josef, Queenstown, Dine Around Dinner
Today travel along the Haast River, with views of the lovely Haast River Valley. Continue to Queenstown and choose from four restaurants tonight.

Day 4. Queenstown, Freedom of Choice Touring
Join your selected touring activity. Options include a garden tour, a Double Decker Bus tour and many more. (B)
Day 5. Milford Sound, Te Anau
Follow the Remarkables mountain range to Fiordland National Park. Cruise the full length of Milford Sound then rejoin the coach and journey to Te Anau.

Day 6. Te Anau, Dunedin, Freedom of Choice Touring
Leaving the dramatic landscape of the Fiordland region, journey through rolling countryside to the city of Dunedin, which has a strong Scottish heritage. This afternoon you choose an activity and we will include it.

Day 7. Dunedin, Mt Cook, Freedom of Choice Touring
Travel to the Moeraki Boulders then on to Mt Cook. Here, perhaps take a guided walk, visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre or go stargazing with astronomy guides.

Day 8. Mt Cook Christchurch
Visit the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd before leaving the High Country. Cross the Rakaia River and Canterbury plains to Christchurch.
