Terms and Conditions
Deposits:
A deposit of AUD150 per person must be paid within 7 days of booking. Such payment indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions of booking with Go New Zealand. Some bookings may require additional deposits, depending on components booked.
Full Payments:
Full payment for all package holidays must be received at least 45 days prior to your departure. For packages booked within 45 days of departure, full payment is due to the company immediately upon confirmation of your reservation. Packages including overnight walks, may require earlier payment.
Cancellations:
Cancellation of a booking outside 45 days prior to departure will incur a AUD150 per person fee.
Within 44 to 21 days of travel a fee of 20% of the total booking value will apply; plus any hotel or ground operator fee that may apply. Between 20 days and 11 days 50% of the total cost; and 100% within 10 days; plus any hotel or ground operator fee that may apply. After departure no refunds are applicable. Refunds cannot be authorised by service providers.
Amendment Fees:
Once confirmed, one amendment free of charge. Additional changes AUD35 for each amendment.
Minimum Purchase:
There is no minimum purchase value applied to bookings, however there is a NZ$50 booking and administration fee that applies to bookings under NZ$1000 in value. This fee is automatically waived for bookings in excess of NZ$1000.
Late Bookings:
Bookings made within 25 days of departure may be liable for an extra charge of AUD35 for processing.
Travel Insurance is not included in your tour cost. It is strongly recommended that insurance be taken out to fully protect you against loss of deposit, airfare and land content charges which may occur in case of cancellation, loss of baggage, ill health or strikes.
Responsibilities:
Go New Zealand while acting as tour organiser, does not operate the accommodation, land transportation, tour operators or other services. Participants accept this acknowledgement and all vouchers, bookings and reservations from Go New Zealand as an independent contractor; and understand that the same are accepted subject to these terms and conditions, and the terms and conditions set forth in any tickets, coupons, vouchers, reservations forms or contracts used by accommodation, land transportation, tour operators or other services.
Go New Zealand gives notice that they only act as agents for hotels, land transportation, tour operators or other services, and are not liable for any loss, damage delay or injury however caused. Air and surface transportation is subject to the conditions of carriage of the companies concerned. Baggage, personal effects and insurance (cancellation, health or accident) are the passenger's own risk and responsibility.
Tours and Itineraries:
The information on our website and in all documentation is correct to the best of our knowledge, but we cannot guarantee that any item or amenity mentioned will be available especially where we have no direct control over it.
Itineraries are subject to alteration without notice and are intended as a guide only. Alterations may come about due to road or weather conditions, public holidays, local festivals, strikes or other reasons. Any additional expense incurred by the passenger is not the company's responsibility. We strongly recommend you have adequate travel Insurance cover.
The tours are provided by independent operators, which are not under the control of Go New Zealand, and whilst Go New Zealand takes all reasonable care in selecting these operators, it cannot take responsibility for those operators conduct or the conduct of their representative employees or agents or for any ramifications of that conduct.
Tour Costs:
Are expressed in New Zealand dollars and include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax, currently 12.5% Costs are subject to change without notice, because of Government tax changes, increases in accommodation, land transportation, tour operators or other services. All holiday package itineraries prices are to be used as a guide only, as they are subject to seasonal surcharges, and amendment due to components booked and availability of these components.
