The Jewel combines two distinctly different Great Rides in one short self-guided cycling journey, taking you from the Kawarau Gorge and Gibbston wine country to the Lake Dunstan Trail and historic Clyde. Rather than following a single rail trail or spending several days in one location, the itinerary gives riders changing scenery, varied trail experiences and opportunities to explore Central Otago's wine and gold-mining heritage.
