Fox Glacier Day Walks and Tours

Fox Glacier on New Zealand’s West Coast is located between Greymouth and Wanaka, about 20 minutes drive from Franz Josef. At Fox Glacier there is a complete collection of awesome guided expeditions and ice adventures available, which suit all fitness levels.

Our half day glacier walks to the lower icefall are suitable for all the family; or if you have limited time take a short instructive Terminal Face Guided Walk. For those that are fitter, and have a little more time, then the Full Day Fox Glacier Guided walks are available. You can also take awe-inspiring helicopter flights for a guided Heli-hike on the more inaccessible parts of Fox Glacier. For those wanting to try a thrilling ice climbing adventure, there are trips with specialist tuition available.
