InterCity Coachlines (IC)

InterCity Coachlines Route Map

InterCity Coaches operate a fleet of modern air-conditioned coaches, without a washroom or toilet on board. Long distance coaches however do have regular refreshment stops, when you can stretch your legs. InterCity Link (IL) in conjunction with small local operators connects with smaller regional towns.

InterCity also operates a Starlighter overnight service between Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston North and Wellington or vice versa. The service has reclining seats, reading lamps, foot and head rests, as well as personal air-conditioning controls. There are 2 refreshment stops enroute, and the service connects with the Interislander Ferry between Wellington and Picton, to and from the South Island of New Zealand.


Newmans Coach Lines (NM)

Newmans has a fleet of 4 & 5 Star Coaches with air-conditioning, video and washroom/toilet on board. These coaches operate local sightseeing services, with free hotel pick up and live commentary from knowledgeable drivers on board. Multi-lingual commentary is available in 4 languages on selected Auckland, Rotorua, Waitomo; and Christchurch, Mt Cook, Queenstown; or Queenstown Milford Sound services.


Great Sights (GS)

Great Sights operates a fleet of premium, state of the art 5 star coaches on main sight-seeing routes in both the North and South Island, with a range of day tours with an informative and entertaining commentary. Tours include entry to some of New Zealand's most well known sight-seeing attractions.
