Queen Charlotte Track Walks, New Zealand

The Queen Charlotte Track covers 71 km in the Marlborough Sounds from Ship Cove to Anikawa with fantastic views of Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound. Located at the top of the South Island of New Zealand, the Queen Charlotte walk is reached by water taxi from Picton. Usually walked in 4 days the Queen Charlotte Track is popular with hikers of all ages and fitness levels.

The Queen Charlotte Track is famous for the magnificent diversity of flora and fauna, bird life and native bush. There is no carrying of heavy luggage! Every day your luggage is transported by water taxi to your next accommodation on both fully guided walks, and independent or self-guided walks. If you do not want to walk one day, you can even miss a day and travel by water taxi.
