The 1.5-hour experience includes:
- Scenic boat cruise from Kinloch Marina

- An extra layer is useful even on warm days, as conditions on Lake Taupō can feel cooler than they do on shore.
A minimum of two adults is required for the cruise to operate. If minimum numbers are not reached, your departure may need to be moved to another available time. Private bookings are also available for groups, with capacity for up to 10 passengers.
Adult fares apply from 13 years, children are aged 2–12 years, and infants are under two. A family fare is available for two adults and two children aged 2–12.
The cruise is weather dependent. Conditions on Lake Taupō may result in the trip being rescheduled or cancelled if it cannot operate safely.
The shore portion includes a short bush walk of around five minutes each way into the ravine. Wear footwear suitable for getting on and off the boat and walking a natural trail.
