Overview

Nowhere in New Zealand can you find more forests, mountains and protected lands than the South Island’s West Coast where wild and remote coastlines are surrounded by ancient rainforests, with the towering peaks and glaciers of the Southern Alps rising in the distance. Based at Fox Glacier for this 3 Day West Coast Bespoke Photography Tour, discover the magnificent rainforest of the UNESCO World Heritage Area Te Wahipounamu in New Zealand. We drive to the isolated beaches of the West Coast from where you enjoy unimpeded views of the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps and capture the sunrise at Lake Matheson whose glass-like waters reflect astounding images of Mt Tasman and Aoraki/Mt Cook, the highest mountain in New Zealand.

Take advantage of the right weather to go on a scenic helicopter flight (at additional cost) onto the enormous upper neve of the Fox Glacier for photo opportunities you won’t find anywhere.
