We set off from the inner city and make our way down to the Waterfront and Viaduct District known as the hub of food and shopping. Driving along the waterfront, we take the Tamaki Drive on our way to Mission Bay, passing through Paratai Drive, the richest street in New Zealand filled with fantastic homes and harbourside views.

On reaching Mission Bay, we pause for a brief walk and photo opportunity as Auckland’s city skyline comes into full view as well Rangitoto Island just across the harbour.

Leaving Mission Bay, we head to the Auckland Domain through the upmarket suburbs of Remuera, Orake and Parnell renowned for their boutique shops and cafés. On reaching the Auckland Domain, we visit its relaxing winter gardens and fascinating museum, with an option to enjoy a break at the Wintergarden café to sample Auckland’s world-class coffees.

After a refreshing break at the Auckland Domain, we journey further inland on our way to One Tree Hill and Mount Eden – two of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and look out points. Standing on their summits, admire Auckland’s skyline and coastline from all sides and understand how its volcanic landscape and history made it one of the most liveable and delightful cities in the world.

Depending on your circumstances, the tour ends here and we can then drop you off at your desired location, or we can proceed to another Auckland city, tour or activity.
