Enjoy a Hearty Hobbit Second Breakfast
After your guided walking tour, continue into the famous Green Dragon Inn for a complimentary Southfarthing beverage beside the crackling fireplace before making your way across the stone bridge to the Millhouse.
Inside the rustic Old Mill, guests are treated to a generous breakfast feast inspired by a Hobbit’s favourite meal of the day. The breakfast spread includes fresh seasonal fruit, pastries, breads, preserves, cold meats, and a hearty hot breakfast selection featuring scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, and rosemary mushrooms.
Coffee and tea are served throughout the experience, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere beside the water in the heart of The Shire.
Once breakfast is complete, return through the peaceful pathways of Hobbiton before boarding the coach back to The Shire’s Rest.

Hobbiton operates as a ‘halal-friendly’ kitchen and follows a strict allergen management plan. However, as the kitchen handles many allergens, dishes cannot be guaranteed completely free from trace amounts.

All daily tours continue to operate as scheduled. Guests may occasionally notice construction equipment or hear background activity, but this work is carefully managed within designated areas to minimise any impact on the experience. Visitors will still enjoy the full Hobbiton tour, along with added insights into the preservation efforts through updated guide commentary.

At times, vehicle access may be adjusted for safety or parking capacity. Please follow the instructions provided by Hobbiton’s Tour Operations team on arrival, as these may vary throughout the day.
