The scenery is outstanding, ranging from expansive verdant meadows, thick rainforest, and soaring mountains through to glacial lakes and alpine herb fields. No other road in Fiordland presents such a varied look into New Zealand’s alpine zone. Afterwards you return by coach to Te Anau or Queenstown.
