The drive from Auckland to Bay Of Islands takes around 3.5 hours.

Allow extra time for sightseeing and experience the bohemian charm of Puhoi and take in fresh sea air in Whangarei. Don't miss the world-famous Hundertwasser toilets in Kawakawa. Enjoy the native bush and golden beaches before arriving in Paihia.
