Begin your day with a morning cruise from Picton across the Marlborough Sounds to Furneaux Lodge, arriving in time for a coffee or light brunch before the walk begins. The track meanders along the coastline of Endeavour Inlet, offering a peaceful journey through native bush that has flourished where farmland once stood. This gentle section of the Queen Charlotte Track is well-formed and rich with birdsong.

Birdlife accompanies you through regenerating forest, with interpretation panels near the historic Antimony Mine offering insights into the area’s past.
