Christchurch – We start our journey by leaving the beautiful Garden City, heading over the hills for an exciting day out. Along the way, our friendly and knowledgeable driver will point out some of Christchurch’s key landmarks and highlights.

Little River – Our first stop is the charming township of Little River, where we’ll enjoy a morning tea break. Take some time to explore the local gift shop, where you can discover unique treasures and handcrafted items.

Crater Rim Scenic Drive – If the weather allows, we’ll take the scenic route along Crater Rim. This road offers breathtaking views of Akaroa Harbour and the Pacific Ocean as we drive around the rim of an ancient volcanic crater. It’s a photographer’s dream with stunning vistas at every turn.

Akaroa – We then continue our journey towards Akaroa, passing through the picturesque landscapes of the Banks Peninsula. There are plenty of scenic lookout points as we approach the summit, before descending into the quaint, French-inspired village of Akaroa. Once in Akaroa, you’ll have time to explore its many attractions.

Popular options include taking a nature cruise to spot local wildlife or simply strolling through the charming streets lined with French architecture. For those feeling adventurous, there are also some beautiful hill walks in the area.

Christchurch – After a wonderful day of exploring Akaroa and its surroundings, we’ll make our way back to Christchurch. You’ll return with hearts full of memories from an unforgettable day out!
