Alpine Hiking, Glaciers and Iconic South Island Landscapes

This 13 day South Island journey begins in Queenstown before heading deep into the Southern Alps on the iconic Routeburn Track, a fully guided multi-day hike through Fiordland and Mount Aspiring National Parks. Surrounded by alpine peaks, waterfalls, and native forest, this experience offers one of the most immersive ways to connect with New Zealand’s natural beauty.

Beyond the mountains, the adventure continues along the rugged West Coast to places like Lake Moeraki and Franz Josef, where rainforest meets glacier ice in dramatic contrast. The journey then crosses the Southern Alps aboard the TranzAlpine train before reaching Aoraki Mt Cook National Park, where glacier lakes, scenic flights, and vast alpine landscapes create a memorable finale.
