Waiheke Sip & Savour Wine Tour

The Sip & Savour wine tour on Waiheke Island offers a relaxed way to enjoy the island’s local flavours, combining boutique wine tastings with food pairings and a leisurely lunch. Designed to highlight hidden gems favoured by locals, the experience balances premium wines with time to enjoy the island’s laid-back atmosphere. Small group touring ensures a comfortable pace and personal attention throughout the day.

Alongside wine tastings, the tour introduces award-winning olive oil and other locally produced delights. Friendly local guides share stories about the island, its producers and winemaking traditions. The result is a social, unhurried day focused on tasting, scenery and good company.

What to Expect on the Sip & Savour Waiheke Experience

This tour includes visits to three boutique wineries, selected based on availability and seasonal conditions. Tastings typically include 10 to 12 individual wines, with some paired alongside food to enhance flavours. Wineries may include Casita Miro, Mudbrick, Te Motu, Postage Stamp, Tantalus Estate, Stonyridge and other local favourites.

A relaxed lunch is included at one of Waiheke’s well-known restaurants, with options ranging from a shared platter and wine to a main meal with a beverage. Dining venues vary by day and may include Batch Winery, Wild Estate, Stonyridge Vineyard or Three Seven Two.
