The hilltops can get quite cold during winter, so we recommend dressing warmly. Please wear long pants, thermal layers, a coat, and sturdy hiking boots or shoes. Hats and gloves are also advised to stay comfortable throughout the experience.
Cloud Cover Policy
A back-up date will be arranged at the time of booking in case cloud cover affects visibility on the night of your tour. If you're not staying in Kaikōura for multiple nights and are unable to reschedule, a full refund will be issued.
- Within 48 hours of the tour: Non Refundable
- More than 48 hours before the tour: Cancellations incur a NZ$25 fee per person, with the balance refunded.**
Note: *Any refund approved under our terms and conditions will be subject to a 5% admin & processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
