Ride Te Awa – The Great New Zealand River Ride on a full-day e-bike trip from Auckland, with between 10 and 70 km of cycling depending on your ability and preferred distance. Starting at Ngāruawāhia, follow the Waikato River along wide paved cycleways and boardwalks through Hamilton towards Cambridge and Lake Karāpiro.

The route is mostly Grade 1–2 and includes around one to five hours of riding. Return Auckland transport and support throughout the day make it a flexible option for riders with basic cycling confidence who want to experience more of the Waikato River Trail without committing to the full distance.
