- Visitor Centre and shop near the lighthouse are usually open 11am–3pm, Wednesday–Sunday.
- Bring your own food and snacks, as there is no food available for purchase.
- Pack food in a sealable container.
- Toilets are available at the wharf, Hobbs Beach and the lighthouse.
- Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
- Stay on marked tracks to protect plants, birds and research areas.
- Dogs are not permitted on the island.
- Fires and portable barbeques are not permitted.
- There are no rubbish bins, so take all rubbish with you.
- Bicycles, scooters and skateboards are not permitted.

- More than 24 hours before departure: Full refund**
- Within 24 hours: No refund
