Can a Christchurch short stay become part of a longer South Island holiday?

Yes. Go New Zealand can tailor the duration or combine your stay with further travel. South Island self-drive holidays offer routes through alpine, coastal and lake regions beyond Canterbury. Alternatively you can combine with other South Island Short Stay packages. Ask for the complete journey to be planned together, including additional accommodation, vehicle hire and any change to the rental-car return location.
