Can I stay at Otehei Bay for longer than 1½ hours?

Yes, on the morning cruise you may be able to take a later Explore ferry at no extra cost. Contact the operator’s reservations team to arrange that ferry in advance; do not assume you can change your return after arriving on the island. The extended stay makes this a longer day than the standard 4½-hour itinerary. See other Bay of Islands cruises from Paihia when comparing island time.
