Can you see glowworms without taking a full-day Waitomo tour?

Yes. Mitai Māori Village includes a guided forest walk to see glowworms as part of its Rotorua cultural evening. This is included in the Rotorua Family Escape and available as an optional or alternative experience on selected other packages. The forest setting provides a different experience from Waitomo’s underground cave tours.
