Duration: 3 days
Minimum Age: 18

The Private Coromandel Photography Tour is a 3-day customised photography workshop from Auckland, based for two nights at Hahei. Photograph Cathedral Cove at sunrise, waterfalls, native forest and coastal landscapes while learning long exposure, Neutral Density filter and HDR techniques with photographer Ken Wright.

Coastal Photography in the Coromandel

Hahei provides an ideal base for photographing the Coromandel Peninsula's beaches, rock formations, native forest and waterfalls. The three-day itinerary includes sunrise and sunset photography sessions, with time dedicated to developing your landscape photography skills.

A key focus is long exposure photography, including advanced use of Neutral Density (ND) filters and HDR techniques. With private tuition from Ken Wright, you'll learn how shutter speed, filters and changing light can be used to photograph movement in water and clouds and create stronger coastal images.
