Akaroa Sightseeing with Coastal Views and Local Flavours

This full-day tour begins in Christchurch or Lyttelton, where you’ll set off with a small group and a friendly local guide. The journey takes you through Banks Peninsula’s spectacular landscapes, with a stop for morning tea in Little River and visits to charming rest houses along the way. On arrival in Akaroa, you’ll explore the historic French settlement with its unique character and coastal beauty.

In Akaroa, choose to visit the colourful Giant’s House, famous for its mosaic sculptures and terraced gardens, or upgrade to a harbour nature cruise to spot Hector’s dolphins, fur seals, and seabirds. Afterward, enjoy free time to dine at local cafés, shop in boutiques, or take a relaxing stroll along the waterfront.
