Taste Your Way Through Wellington’s Craft Beer Scene
Wellington has built a reputation for creative, character-filled craft beer, and this private tour gives you an easy way to experience the local scene in a single afternoon. Starting at 1:00 pm, you’ll visit three breweries, typically including Fortune Favours, Mean Doses and Double Vision Brewing. Along the way, sample a changing selection of beers and learn more about the flavours, brewing techniques and personalities behind Wellington’s independent beer culture.
There’s plenty to see between tastings too. The journey takes in Wellington’s waterfront and Oriental Parade before continuing towards Miramar and the rugged south coast, adding harbour and coastal views to the afternoon. With private transport throughout, there’s no need to worry about getting between venues, and at around 5:00 pm you can be dropped at your accommodation, a convenient city location or even another craft beer bar if you’d like to continue exploring.
