Journey Deep into Pātea Doubtful Sound

Your adventure begins with a coach journey from Queenstown to Manapouri, followed by a scenic cruise across Lake Manapouri and a drive over the remote Wilmot Pass. This remarkable route crosses rainforest-covered mountains before descending to Deep Cove, where the Fiordland Navigator awaits. The journey reveals parts of Fiordland that cannot be reached by road alone.

Once aboard, cruise beneath towering peaks and past waterfalls while watching for bottlenose dolphins, New Zealand fur seals and Fiordland crested penguins. Kayaking and tender-boat excursions provide a closer look at the sheltered coves when conditions allow, while the onboard nature specialist shares insights into the fiord’s wildlife and landscapes. After dinner and a night in your private ensuite cabin, wake to the stillness of Doubtful Sound before beginning the return journey to Queenstown.
