Can you include Māori cultural experiences in a South Island short stay?

Yes. The Christchurch Family Escape offers the Manaaki Waka experience on the Ōtākaro Avon River as an optional activity. It introduces local stories and the river’s cultural significance. Confirm any accompanying guided walk and the final arrangements when booking.
