Will You See Original Lord of the Rings Film Sets?

Queenstown tours visit the outdoor landscapes used during filming. The temporary sets were dismantled, so your guide helps you recognise the locations through scene references and production stories.

For a visit to the preserved Shire, explore Hobbiton Movie Set experiences near Matamata in the North Island. Plan Hobbiton separately from your Queenstown stay.
