The Appellation Boutique Wine Tour adds a touch of luxury to the Central Otago experience. Travellers ride in comfort aboard a Mercedes-Benz minivan, guided by a specialist Wine Guide who shares local history, winemaking insights, and a few well-kept secrets. A highlight of the day is the platter-style lunch at Carrick Winery and Restaurant (or a similar venue), featuring fresh regional produce paired beautifully with estate wines.
