Depart from Picton aboard a scenic water taxi ride to the peaceful Kaipupu Point Scenic Reserve. You’ll have 2 hours onshore to walk the 2.7 km loop track—steep in sections but manageable for most walkers. Please note strollers or pushchairs aren’t permitted due to uneven and hilly terrain, so wear comfortable shoes.
Kaipupu Sanctuary is a vital community conservation initiative restoring a 40‑hectare peninsula in Picton Harbour. The project has transformed this area into a predator‑free habitat, offering walkers a unique chance to enjoy nature and contribute to local ecology.
