The Wellington Electric Bays Tour is a 3–4 hour guided e-bike ride covering approximately 25 km of the city's waterfront, coastline and surrounding bays. Starting from central Wellington, you'll cycle through Oriental Bay and around the Miramar Peninsula before using your e-bike's assistance to reach a panoramic lookout, with a local guide sharing stories about Wellington along the way.

Modern Bosch and Shimano pedal-assist e-bikes make Wellington's hills and famous breezes much easier to manage, while still giving you an active way to explore the city. Choose your preferred level of assistance as you follow your guide along waterfront paths, dedicated cycleways and sections of road, stopping for coastal views, local stories and a refreshment along the way.

The ride combines Wellington's urban waterfront with the quieter coastline around the Miramar Peninsula. Towards the end, turn up the electric assistance for the climb to a lookout overlooking the city, harbour entrance and surrounding hills before returning to central Wellington.
