Meet your guide in central Wellington approximately 15 minutes before departure for a safety briefing and time to practise riding in a car-free area.
Set off at an easy pace along Wellington's waterfront, using flat paths and cycle lanes to explore the city without riding on roads. Along the way, stop at key sights including Oriental Bay and the waterfront around Te Papa while your guide shares stories about Wellington's Māori heritage, natural environment, earthquakes, arts, film industry and local characters.
There is plenty of time to stop for photographs and ask questions, and the guide can adapt some of the commentary to suit the group's interests. The tour finishes back at the central Wellington bike store.
