Unwinding at Lake Rotoiti Hot Pools

After your scenic flight, the floatplane lands right at the secluded Lake Rotoiti Hot Pools. Accessible only by water, this spot is the perfect retreat from the everyday. With seven pools to choose from, you can soak, swim in the lake, or simply relax on a lounger with an ice cream in hand.

Visitors have 90 minutes to make the most of this peaceful hideaway. Whether you’re warming up in the hot pools or cooling off in the lake, the balance of tranquillity and fun is unforgettable. Changing rooms and a friendly pilot’s guidance make the whole experience seamless and stress-free.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Duration: Approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes
Location: Departure from Lakefront Drive, Rotorua City Lakefront
Requirements: Minimum of 2 adult fares required for the flight
Recommended: Please note that only small backpacks are allowed on board. It's essential to bring a bathing suit and towel. Guests are welcome to bring a camera.
Safety: A comprehensive safety briefing and necessary safety equipment will be provided at the Volcanic Air Base. All passengers must also be weighed to ensure proper weight distribution in the aircraft.

Enjoy a 25-minute flight over Rotorua City, farmlands, and crater lakes.
Spend 90 minutes relaxing at the Rotoiti Hot Pools.

Passenger Weight: Individual weights must be advised at the time of booking. If an individual passenger weight exceeds 110kgs a surcharge may apply. Any passenger exceeding 135kgs will be required to pay two adult fares.

Cancel 2-7 days before: 75% fee**
Cancel within 48 hours: No refund.
