Behind the Scenes of Marlborough’s Wine Country

Experience the heart of New Zealand’s most celebrated wine region through a Full Day Winemaker’s Tour. This immersive day offers a rare opportunity to see the entire winemaking process from vine to bottle. Guests enjoy exclusive access to working wineries, with the chance to taste wines that haven’t yet reached the public.

Your guide, a seasoned winemaker, shares expert insights into Marlborough’s diverse terroir and the careful craftsmanship that defines its wines. Depending on the season, you might sample young Pinot Noir straight from the barrel or freshly filtered Sauvignon Blanc. It’s an educational and sensory journey that deepens your appreciation for New Zealand’s world-renowned vintages.

A Day of Tastings, Scenery, and Local Flavours

Across the day, you’ll visit several carefully selected wineries, each chosen for their character and approach to winemaking. Expect an unhurried pace, where conversations flow as smoothly as the wine in your glass. Between tastings, take time to enjoy the rolling vineyards, sunny skies, and friendly atmosphere that make Marlborough so inviting.

Midday brings a leisurely lunch at a vineyard restaurant, paired perfectly with local wines and fresh regional produce. The tour ends with a visit to the Makana Chocolate Shop, adding a sweet finish to a day filled with discovery. This experience combines expert knowledge, fine wine, and local charm into one unforgettable New Zealand adventure.

During the busy vintage season in March and April, Health & Safety regulations may limit full access to working wineries. In these months, we’ll still provide an excellent vantage point to observe the action safely. Don’t miss this unforgettable exploration of Marlborough’s world-class wines!
