Dine Like a Hobbit Inside the Party Marquee
After exploring the movie set, continue to the world-famous Green Dragon Inn for a complimentary Southfarthing beverage before heading into the festive Party Marquee for a delicious buffet lunch.
Overlooking the water beside the Green Dragon Inn, the marquee is decorated with colourful lanterns, painted canvas walls, and vibrant bunting inspired by the films. Guests are seated banquet-style alongside others from their tour departure, creating a fun and social dining atmosphere.
The buffet lunch features generous Hobbit-style fare served family-style from themed buffet tables, making it the perfect way to finish your Middle-earth adventure before returning to The Shire’s Rest.

However, as the kitchen handles many allergens, dishes cannot be guaranteed completely free from trace amounts.

All daily tours continue to operate as scheduled. Guests may occasionally notice construction equipment or hear background activity, but this work is carefully managed within designated areas to minimise any impact on the experience. Visitors will still enjoy the full Hobbiton tour, along with added insights into the preservation efforts through updated guide commentary.

At times, vehicle access may be adjusted for safety or parking capacity. Please follow the instructions provided by Hobbiton’s Tour Operations team on arrival, as these may vary throughout the day.
