Starting your journey from the beachfront helipads of Kaikoura Helicopters, the views are instantly breathtaking. The town of Kaikoura sits perfectly between the Pacific Ocean and the rugged ranges, setting the scene for an incredible experience. From above, you’ll gain a whole new perspective on this dramatic landscape.

As the helicopter glides south along the coastline, keep watch for marine life in the ocean below. Sperm Whales can often be spotted, sometimes just off the shore, making this flight even more remarkable. You’ll then pass over the winding Hundalees Hills and Mt Beautiful Vineyard before touching down near the river.
