Tucked away in Mt Aspiring National Park, this full-day canyoning adventure delivers an unbeatable mix of action and scenery. Set in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it's a playground for thrill-seekers craving wild natural beauty. Expect everything from down climbs and jumps to dramatic waterfall abseils, all in a pristine alpine landscape.

With 4 to 5 hours of non-stop fun, the experience can be adapted to suit your energy levels. You'll tackle some of the biggest canyoning features available from Queenstown, including towering abseils and powerful water chutes. It's a chance to fully immerse yourself in nature while pushing your limits in a safe and supported way.

This canyoning trip includes return transfers from Queenstown or Wanaka, so there’s no stress about getting there. Once on site, all necessary gear is provided, along with expert guidance from experienced professionals who know the terrain inside out. Whether you're a first-timer or a canyoning enthusiast, you're in good hands.

The group size is capped at five people, keeping the experience personal and flexible. You'll enjoy a delicious picnic-style lunch mid-adventure, with vegetarian and meat options available. With nature, adrenaline, and comfort all wrapped into one, it’s a day that promises both challenge and reward.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

While no prior experience is needed, a medium level of fitness is required and good swimming ability too.  You’ll need to be physically able to strut your stuff in a wetsuit for up to 3 hours navigating through the terrain with walks, climbs, swims, jumps and moves that’ll leave you feeling totally accomplished!  The time spent in the canyon can vary depending on the groups ability, but is usually up to 3 hours of canyoning time.

Important information: Participants must be physically able to complete the activity in the allowed time duration and it is at the guides discretion to ensure all participants suitability!  Feel free to get in touch with our friendly team if you have any questions about your suitability.

AGE INFORMATION

  • Maximum Age: 60 years
  • Minimum Age: 12 years
  • Child 12-14 years: Must be accompanied by a supervisor 16 years or older

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund**.
  • Within 48 hours: No refund
  • The maximum age is 60 years old, anyone over 60 years old cannot travel and these tickets will not be refunded within 48 hours of departure.
