Exploring the Tasman Glacier
The highlight continues with a guided trip on the Tasman Glacier Terminal Lake. A specially designed boat glides through floating icebergs, offering a close look at glacial formations that shift and change with the seasons. Guides share insights into the natural history of the glacier, adding depth to the visual spectacle.
After the lake experience, a return flight to Queenstown follows a different route, revealing the beauty of Lindis Pass with its golden tussock fields. This contrasting landscape completes the journey, showing another side of the South Island’s diverse scenery. From towering peaks to rolling high country, the adventure captures the best of New Zealand in a single day.
