This 60-minute Franz Josef helicopter flight is the operator’s most comprehensive scenic flight, covering Franz Josef, Fox, Tasman and Shackleton Glaciers. Cross the Southern Alps for views of Aoraki/Mount Cook, Mt Tasman and Ice Lake, as well as alpine landscapes used in The Lord of the Rings.

The experience includes two snow landings, giving you more time in the alpine environment than the operator’s shorter scenic flights. The exact route and landing locations depend on weather, visibility and snow conditions.
