Volcanoes, Wildlife and Alpine Landscapes Across New Zealand

This 14 day journey begins in Auckland before travelling south through the Waikato and into Tongariro National Park, where dramatic volcanic peaks like Mt Ruapehu and Mt Ngauruhoe dominate the landscape. The route continues to Wellington, where harbour views, creative culture, and unique wildlife experiences such as Zealandia offer a memorable contrast to the rugged interior.

Crossing to the South Island, the journey unfolds through Marlborough’s vineyards, Kaikōura’s marine wildlife, and Christchurch’s garden city charm before heading inland to Aoraki Mt Cook National Park. The adventure finishes through Wānaka’s alpine beauty and over the Crown Range into Queenstown, showcasing some of New Zealand’s most iconic natural landscapes.
